Lunatic dawn 38/29/2023 That being the case, if I did get a copy of the CD version, re-inserting the script should be doable. Not having the CD version myself, though, I can't test it. I'm under the impression that the download version is. I don't think it works with the CD version. It's like if Ys was a largely text-driven turn-based open-world dungeoncrawler. If you need to deliver a weapon/armor, the quest target won't take it if it's equipped. I also like that NPCs are persistent entities that will do quests on their own if left to their own devices, which really lends an air of dynamism that a lot of games like this (see: Daggerfall) lack. You don't have food per se, but wandering around aimlessly will kill you. ![]() ![]() The Third Book has a lot of its text stored in dat files encoded via Huffman Coding and I have no idea what that is but I found some tool on a Korean-language forum for at least decoding them. TTB looks really cool though, and appears to bring back LD1/2's skill system, although the town graphics are sort of gross. I'm going to start looking into The Third Book. Just submitted the complete-but-not-super-well-tested version to RHDN.
